We are committed to offering everyone the opportunity to adopt healthy and conscious lifestyles, and thanks to a team of nutritionists specialized in the scientific pillars of healthy longevity trained by Professor Valter Longo himself, we provide health care in the field of nutrition and therapeutic strategies that can slow down and counteract the onset of significant aging-related pathologies.
This consists in complete assistance, of high quality and in equal measure for anyone who may need it, provided free of charge or with a reduced participation cost for those who live in particular financial distress, but also at discounted prices or payments in installments for other specific categories, pathological conditions or on the basis of further and wider income brackets.
● The free service is available for applicants belonging to the First ISEE Band, which takes into account income, assets and an equivalence scale that varies according to the composition of the family unit (e.g., for a family of four € 26,157,03 in 2021).
● The service issued at prices useful solely to cover costs that are directly attributable is available to applicants belonging to the Second ISEE Group, which takes into account income, assets and an equivalence scale that varies according to the composition of the family unit (e.g., for a family of four € 52,314.04 in 2021).
Please note that the Valter Longo Foundation is a non-profit organization, whose purpose is to promote scientific, health care and educational programs in order to offer the entire community the opportunity to live a healthy existence and reduce mortality related to non-communicable diseases such as cancer, diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular, autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases. For this reason, any revenues deriving from the nutritional assistance services provided, net of the sums to cover management costs, as well as any donations received, are allocated by the Foundation entirely to projects of social utility and in favor of those who are in emergency situations or are suffering mental, physical and financial distress.
A message from our scientific coordinator Dottoressa Romina Inès Cervigni, PhD
On a daily basis the Valter Longo Foundation welcomes both healthy patients and those suffering from serious pathologies, after the surgeon ascertains their pathophysiological conditions such as cancer, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular, neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis. The aim is to start a path of health and well-being, and to accompany patients on this journey towards longevity, through nutrition and lifestyle.
The scientific preparation of the expert nutritionists at the Valter Longo Foundation allows patients to have access to personalized nutritional advice suited to their lifestyle, physical condition and potential presence of any pathologies.
The nutritionists create detailed nutritional plans for every age – starting from childhood – and condition, based on the Longevity Diet, which, as the situation of the individual patient changes over time, are transformed according to the new needs and conditions that have arisen, such as pregnancy and breastfeeding. In cases of patients suffering from pathological diseases, there is also the opportunity to collaborate with medical specialists and clinical studies in progress, as well as to evaluate innovative supporting therapies. The path outlined during the first meeting is then continued with subsequent regular checks, on a personalized basis, but usually monthly.
The nutritional biologists of the Valter Longo Foundation are available for consultations and nutritional advice, aimed at assessing your food plan and improving it on the basis of the principles of the Longevity Diet, developed by Professor Valter Longo.
During the consultation, information on your health condition, eating habits and anthropometric measurements will be collected to establish short and long-term goals. On the basis of this information, the nutritional biologists will set up, together with the patient, a personalized nutritional education path based on the Foundation’s scientific method.
It can be very useful to bring with you recent blood tests (done up to 6-12 months before) and any other clinical documentation that can help better understand the situation and set up a tailor-made nutritional plan.
